Large Doily (15 inches in diameter)
-Not one of these doilies begins in center. Each begins with the points or scallops.
To begin, ch 17 in rose, * sc in 4th st, hdc in next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, tr in each of next 3 sts, dtr in each of next 3 sts, tr tr in each of last 4 sts, ch 22 (the first 5 ch sts made of this ch 22 are left between each scallop), repeat from * around making 20 points or scallops in all. Join with sl st and fasten off.
Rnd 1: is referred to as the first rnd toward center after the scallops. Now join black to first St between scallops, ch 5 (for a dtr), dtr in each of next 4 sts for a 4 dtr cluster, * ch 12, dtr in each of next. 5 ch sts for a 5 dtr cluster, repeat from * around and join.
Rnd 2: Join gray in 6th St of ch-12 lp (black). Ch 9 (for a dc and ch 6) * dc in next St of same ch lp, ch 4,' dc in 6th St of next ch lp, ch 6, repeat from * around and join.
Rnd 3: Sl St to center of lp, ch 9 (for a dc and ch 6), dc in same lp, ch 3, (dc, ch 6, dc) in next lp, repeat from * around.
Rnd 4: Sl St to center of lp, ch 8 (for a dc and ch 5), dc in same lp, * ch 1, (dc, ch 5, dc) in next lp, repeat from * around.
Rnd 5: Sl St to center of lp, ch 7 (for a dc and ch 4), * dc in center of next lp, ch 4, repeat from * around.
Rnd 6: Sl St to center of ch, ch 5 (for a dc and ch 2), * dc over next ch below, ch 2, repeat from * around.

Rnd 2: Join white to tip of any scallop, ch 6 (for a dc and ch 3) dc in tip of scallop, * ch 5, (dc, ch 3, dc) in same tip, ch 9, dc in 10th St down side of scallop, ch 1 (between scallops), dc in 5th St of next scallop, ch 9, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next tip, repeat
from * around. End with ch 8, SC in third ch of beginning, ch 6.
Rnd 3: Ch 5, * dc over ch lp, ch 2, (dc, ch 4, dc, ch 5, dc, ch 4, dc) in same lp, ch 2, dc over next ch lp, ch 2, dc in second St of ch 9, ch 3 between scallops, dc in second St of ch 9, ch 2, repeat from * around.
Work the last two rnds the same as rnd 3, only in rnd 4 ch 5 between scallops and in last rnd ch 7. Join and fasten off.
Medium Size Doily (10 inches) Rose scallops: Ch 15, * SC in 4th St, hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr, 3 dtr, 3 tr tr in the 11 remaining ch sts, ch 19 (the first 4 sts of the ch 19 are left between scallops), repeat from * around. Fasten and cut.
Rnd 1: Join black to first St between scallops. Ch 4 (for a tr), tr in each of next 3 sts for a 4 tr cluster, * ch 10, tr in each of next 4 ch sts for a 4 tr cluster, repeat from * around. Join and fasten off.
Rnd 2: Join gray in center of ch 10 of previous rnd, ch 9 (for a dc and ch 6), dc in next St of same ch lp, * ch 2, dc in 5th ch of next ch lp, ch 6, dc in next ch St of same lp, repeat from around and Join.
Rnd 3: Sl St to center of lp, ch 8 (for a dc and a ch 3), dc in same lp, * (dc, ch 5, dc) in center of next lp, repeat from * around and Join.
Rnd 4: Sl St to center of lp, ch 5 (for a dc and ch 2), * dc in center of next lp, ch 2, repeat from * around.

Join white to tip of any scallop, ch 6 (for a dc and ch 3), * ch 5, (dc, ch 3, dc) in same tip, ch 7, dc in 7th St at side of scallop, ch 2, dc in corresponding St on next scallop, ch 7, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next tip, repeat from * around, end with ch 6, SC in third ch of beginning ch 6.
Next rnd: Ch 5 (for a dc and ch 2), * dc over ch lp, ch 2, (dc, ch 4, dc, ch 5, dc, ch 4, dc) in next or center lp below, ch 2, dc in next lp, ch 2, dc in second St of ch 7, ch 4 between scallops, dc in corresponding St of next ch, ch 2, repeat from * around.

Small Size Doily (6 inches) Rose scallops: Ch 13, SC in 4th St from hook, hdc, 2 dc, 3 tr, 3 dtr, in the remaining sts of ch, ch 15 (ch 2 between scallops) for next scallop and repeat from * around each scallop. join and fasten off.
Join black in first St between scallops, ch 1, SC in next St, * ch 8, SC in each Of next 2 sts between scallops, repeat from * around the inside of scallops. join and fasten off.
Join gray in 4th ch of ch 8, ch 7 (for a dc and a ch 3), dc in next St of same ch lp, * dc in 4th St of next ch lp, ch 4, dc in next St of same ch lp, repeat from * around and join.
Sl St to center of next ch lp, ch 3 (for a dc), dc in each ch lp around. join and fasten off.
